We’re looking forward to the 2023 River Valley Employment Fair on Friday April 14th,
2023. Here you will find important details for the day:
Q: Where is the event?
A: The event will be held at the Riverside Middle School Gym, 13 Fairground Rd., Springfield VT 05156.
Q: Where will we park and unload items?
A: Parking is in the lower lot in front of the school. Parking is free. If you have materials to unload, please drop them off at the upper left-hand entrance and then park below.
Q: Arrival and Departure times?
A: Employers can begin arriving at 2:00pm. Doors will open to job seekers at 3:00pm. The fair is scheduled to end at 6:00pm and we ask that employers keep their tables set up until at least 5:30pm.
Q: What will be provided to us?
A: We will provide a 3’x6’ table, chairs, and black table clothes. We recommend bringing any marketing materials, business cards, or other recruitment materials you would like to share with job seekers.
Q: Will employers be assigned a table?
A: Yes, each employer will be assigned to a specific table. Event Staff will have maps for the tables and each table will be numbered to help you find your location.
Q: Restroom availability.
A: Bathrooms can be found at the front entrance of the gym to the left side. There is also a water fountain.
Q: Will WiFi be available?
A: Yes, WiFi will be available to all participating employers. WiFi information will be provided the day of the fair.
Q: Will power be available?
A: Power will only be available to employer who purchased a Package ($300) level ticket.
Q: How will the Raffle Tickets work?
A: Each employer will be given raffle tickets to give to job seekers after they visit their table. The job seekers can then use the tickets to enter to win one of 10 raffle prizes. Employers should only give one ticket per job seeker.
