Employer FAQs
Q: Where is the event?
A: Riverside Middle School, 13 Fairground Rd., Springfield, VT 05156. The fair will be outside under an event tent behind Robinson Field.
Q: Where will we park and unload items?
A: Parking is available in the school lot. Parking is free. There will be an “Unload Zone” near the tents to unpack and set up materials. We ask that you move your vehicle once you have unloaded your items.
Q: Arrival and Departure times?
A: Employers can begin arriving at 2:00 pm. The fair will be open to job seekers from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm. We ask that employers keep their tables set up until at least 5:45 pm for late arriving job seekers.
Q: What will be provided to us?
A: We will provide a 3’x6’ or 3' X8' table and chairs under a 40' x 60' tent. We recommend bringing any marketing materials, business cards, tablecloth, and any other recruitment materials you would like to share with job seekers.
Q: Will employers be assigned a table?
A: Yes, each employer will be assigned to a specific table. Event Staff will have maps for the tables and each table will be numbered to help you find your location.
Q: Restroom availability.
A: There will be bathrooms available near the tent.
Q: Will WiFi be available?
A: There will be no WiFi available at this event.
Q: Will power be available?
A: Power will not be available for this event.
Q: Will there be food for staff?
A: Applicable to all participating employers: Each staff person at an employer table will receive 1 boxed meal. There will also be snacks and drinks available at the pavilion adjacent to the event tents.
Q: How will the Raffle Tickets work?
A: Each employer will be given raffle tickets to give to job seekers after they visit their table. The job seekers can then use the tickets to enter to win an Amazon Fire Tablet. Employers should only give one ticket per job seeker.
